inspirational breezes

February 17, 2012

From time to time, I plan to post some of my favorite poems and quotes to share with you. These are the words which I have written on the walls and windows of the greentreehouse, so that their inspiration becomes part of my every breath.

I hope you will enjoy them, too.

I dwell in Possibility – (466)

BY EMILY DICKINSON

I dwell in Possibility –
A fairer House than Prose –
More numerous of Windows –
Superior – for Doors –

Of Chambers as the Cedars –
Impregnable of eye –
And for an everlasting Roof
The Gambrels of the Sky –

Of Visitors – the fairest –
For Occupation – This –
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
To gather Paradise –
